Dua Lipa was born on 22nd august 1995, in London, United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a couple of years of work and released a self-titled first album in the year 2017. It climbed to the third spot in the U.K. Chart for Albums. The album released eight singles including Be the only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked to number 6 in the United States. The album, which is now been recognized as Platinum in several countries around the world, won her two Brit Awards (in the year 2018) for British Female Single Artist as well as British Breakthrough act. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Her mother is Bosnian. Additionally, you can find her family's roots in Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. The grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Gjin as well as Rina are her sisters.
