Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Beginning she began as an photographer's assistant. Then, her career shifted into directing and modeling. She was noticed in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was nominated for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office star of the globe after just three movies. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw was divorced three times.
