Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Having been first inspired by the shadows of trees that she saw in the grass, she set about exploring a process that does not present the object in a two-dimensional form on canvas. The subject instead transforms into a re-creation of itself in which the painting becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially in the case of live or perishable objects, such as people or fruit. Her ephemeral painting style is evident and what survives in Alexa Meade's art is a photographic image. Painting and photography are closely together to produce an unflattering two-dimensional space that is trompe l'oeil. In certain places, the third dimensions can be observed, such as near the eye or the hair. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models into the environment around them. This allows them to be part of the world that she created. It eliminates any distinction between painting, photography and installation.
