Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most famous role is anchorperson for the CNN's At This Hour morning show. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. Her previous experience includes working as an Washington DC based correspondent, who covered all aspects of both US House and Senate. Bolduan was a Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle and events such as the discussion of raising the limit of federal credit or the deliberations of the super committee. As an assignment reporter for general assignments she covered news such as those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as a National Correspondent in 2007. As a correspondent for the national network, she provided breaking news coverage as well as feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. She was employed by NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
